Tadpoles
In the Tadpole room we begin to expand on the areas of the lesson plan such as: introducing the children to letters, numbers, shapes, colors, animals, sign language, etc. We engage the children in daily circle time in which we introduce songs, reading, sensory and group time. In addition to daily circle time we have bi-weekly art projects and science, block, and dramatic play.
We know at this age that children learn through play so we make sure to have structured play time that allow all the children to learn, explore and grow.
Every week we will be focusing on one to two sign language words and will focus on one color each month which will be incorporated in our biweekly projects!
